How to fix some mysterious problems.

I have redsn0w 0.9.15b3 and an iPhone 4 iOS 6.0.1. What I want to do is jailbreak my iPhone 4 (I haven't jailbroken this iPhone before). I have downloaded the correct firmware, and it all works. Up until i reboot it. I go into DFU mode and it all works until it has to reboot. It's stuck on "waiting for reboot", I have tried leaving it for 3 hours, restarting the computer. I don't know what else I can do to fix this problem. Can someone please let me know how to get pass the "waiting for reboot".

When it stuck on waiting for reboot just simply hold the home button and the phone will start

I'm also stuck on "Waiting for reboot" but my home button is broken so I can't do that. Anything else I can do?

this question is from a year and a half ago, maybe make your own and give your details, not just a "me too help me" comment.....

You have to select the 6.0 IPSW (extras>Select an IPSW) before jailbreaking and before booting tethered.

Yeah I tried it with IPSW 6.0.1 and 6.0 but it still gets stuck on "waiting for reboot" and my iPhone just has a black screen
