How to jailbreak iOS 6.0-6.1.2 untethered on all iOS devices (and 6.1.3 tethered on older iOS devices).
Apple has released iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4; do not upgrade/restore (if you want to keep your jailbreak). You cannot downgrade/upgrade/restore to 6.1.2 using SHSH blobs on newer devices; older devices that can use SHSH blobs are iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod touch 4th gen. Learn more.

Unlocked iPhone 4 but says Invalid Sim

Hey all,

I recently moved from Canada to New Zealand. I was using Rogers as a carrier in Canada and have just bought a Telecom SIM card. I went through the redsn0w jailbreak and installed Cydia. I unlocked it with ultrasn0w. The problem is, when I insert my new NZ SIM card I get a notification saying "Invalid SIM", followed by a big ole NO SERVICE. Any help would be appreciated. Let me know if anyone has any answers.

what is the modem firmware of the iphone?

settings > general > about > modem firmware

unless your baseband is 01.59.00 ultrasn0w will not unlock an iphone 4

Yeah, I heard something about that. Wasn't sure if it was a good idea. Does downgrading your baseband adversely affect anything on your phone? And how do I go about downgrading my baseband?

you can not downgrade an iphone 4 baseband

Buy an official unlock is better. You can use any carrier forever even you upgrade or restore

Buy official unlock from original carrier not so expensive and it's permenant you can upgrade and downgrade.
