How to fix some mysterious problems.

Hello. I recently tried to jailbreak my iPod 4th generation with redsn0w... but for some reason, it got stuck trying to reboot. Now it wont turn on, i cant restore is with itunes, and i cant re-jailbreak it at all... I'm the saddest person in the world right now haha.. but ive done soo much research on the internet and tried a lot of things.. What happens when i try to boot it tethered with redsn0w is that it boots up to the pineapple logo, for about 10 minutes... and then the screen goes white for 3 seconds and it turns back off... If i try to re-jailbreak it at all, i get the "try a clean 'slide to power off'" message and the no download after 60000 ms!! Giving up... its aggravating. I hope you can help.. Its a brand new ipod ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the iOS was 6.0.1 when i first tried it

Place in dfu mode and click restore in iTunes. To jailbreak 6.0.1, you need to download 6.0 ipsw and browse for it in redsn0w 9.15b3/extras/select ipsw before clicking jailbreak.
