How to fix some mysterious problems.

Karma History Graphic suppressed on IE

The Karma history graphic is missing when opening in Internet Explorer. But there's no problem with IE, I just switched the User Agent string to something different and it shows up fine. So there's a problem with this site saying "IE users are not allowed to see this". Can this be fixed please?

I can confirm that the problem is present in the latest OSQA development release (SVN-1281), so it's not anything modified on JBQA, it's OSQA itself.

Ok, thanks for letting me know the version. I'm also on Win8-64/IE10 btw. If you click F12 (dev tools), menu Tools/Change user agent string, you can see that IE is not the problem.

I have no idea what version is running here, the version I quoted is the latest (I doubt JBQA is running the latest).

This is likely to be an OSQA problem. I don't think comex or chpwn added any customizations that would have altered IE-specific behavior, and saurik and I haven't.

I don't know how to fix it though. If anyone wants to poke around and suggest a fix, I'll ask saurik to implement it.

Hi Britta! I remember comex did tweak the code a bit for some reason, but I'm not sure if that was part of it (probably not). Anyway, yes it's a good idea to check OSQA first. What version of OSQA are you using? If I find out what to fix, I'll let you know. I'll mark this Q as answered and will revive this Q when I know more (might take some time).

According to the bottom of the JBQA admin page, it's OSQA Development Build (SVN-1000).
