A stock restore will kill that unlock. Use sn0wbreeze in simple mode to restore to 6.0.1 while preserving the baseband and jailbreaking.

EDIT: I've just been informed that the "trick" sn0wbreeze used has been patched on Apple's servers, so this will not work. No other software will create a custom 6.0.1 ipsw either. Do you have blobs for any other iOS versions? Open cydia and see the top of the home page for SHSH: and some numbers. If you have 5.1.1, that would be ideal.

Not really, unless you wanted to go to 4.2.1. I would wait for redsn0w to be updated for 6.0.1, then you can preserve the baseband. Or, get an IMEI unlock (if it's an AT&T phone, they're cheap) and you won't ever have to worry about the baseband again.

Wait until redsn0w is updated to support 6.0.1 IPSW and then use its restore.

UPDATE: Apparently redsn0w will restore 6.0.1. Apologies for the confusion. Get redsn0w, click Extras> Even more> Restore. Click IPSW and select the 6.0.1 firmware for your phone (get it here if you don't have it), and answer yes when it asks if you want to preserve the baseband.

After it finishes, you might be in recovery mode. If so, go back to the main redsn0w screen, click Extras> Select IPSW. Choose the 6.0 ipsw (not 6.0.1, as redsn0w doesn't understand it yet). If you don't have it, get it here. Then click Recovery fix and follow the instructions for DFU.

Did you select 6.0.1 under restore or select IPSW? You must do it under restore.
