There is no untethered jailbreak for 6.0.1 unless you have an old bootrom 3GS.

The procedure for jailbreaking 6.0.1 is exactly the same as 6.0

You sure about that? Because I tried jail breaking my touch 4g using the latest version of redsn0w and it's stuck on 'Waitig for reboot'.

Ah, see, letting us know it gets stuck would have been helpful earlier. Are you on Windows?

If so, disable any antivirus, they often interfere, and make sure to run redsn0w as admin.

Are you sure you only use windows defender? You need to select predownloaded 6.0 ipsw if you are jailbreaking 6.0.1.

THERE IS NO UNTETHERED JAILBREAK FOR iOS 6.X. THERE IS NO CONSPIRACY TO HIDE IT FROM YOU. IT SIMPLY HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC AND LIKELY NEVER WILL BE. DEAL WITH IT. IF YOU MUST, WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS AFTER iOS 6.1 IS RELEASED. (my caps lock button is not stuck)
