If you tap "Update" in the App Store and the app opens instead of updating, this is an Apple bug instead of anything related to your jailbreak.

We need to know what you've done to get your device into this state.

first i've downloaded redsn0w and an IPSW then i jailbreaked it as it demands then after doing this i re-booted it then its says the rest of the work takes place in my iphone so i see my phone turning on and the pineapple appears so after 10 seconds the apple appears and it stucks there!!

Try restoring your device to the latest backup you have (you did back up before jailbreaking, right?): connect your device to your computer, then hold down the home and sleep buttons on your device until the screen goes black, then release the sleep button (but still hold down the home button) for about 10 more seconds. iTunes will say your device is in recovery mode - click OK, followed by the "Restore" button. After you've completed the restore, jailbreak again.
(this assumes that you're ok with ending up with iOS 6.0.1, which currently only has a tethered jailbreak)
