How to fix some mysterious problems.

Hello! I have noticed on my iphone 3gs 3.1.3 and my ipod touch 2g 4.0 (both are jailbroken) that there is a major glitch when updating certain apps in the app store (such as facebook). I click the update button and it kinda stays there a split second longer than it should and then kinda just "flicks" to the install button. When I press the install button, the same thing happens. It just stays there longer and normal and then switches back to the update button.

Do you have this problem? If you do, what firmware are you running? Please tell me if this doesn't happen on a non-jailbroken device. I think apple might finally be trying to put a stop to jailbreaking, instead of just patching the jailbreaks in later versions. But, I wouldn't see why apple would start at the update button. Knowing them, they would probably start at something that is even more inconvenient.

I have, but I have noticed this is a problem that others have.

I've had similar behaviour intermittently for many past versions (though not often), it seems to go away again by itself. Sometimes a reboot fixes it, sometimes not.

Have you tried a reboot?
