How to fix some mysterious problems.

I have the iPhone 4 4.2.1 with BB 3.10.01 and it will not jailbreak via Greenpois0n. I jailbroke iPods, 3GS's, Iphone 4G's last weekend with not problem. Can anyone help me with this?

Assuming you're starting from stock 4.2.1 fw, it sounds like a usb port issue. Did you jb the others with the same computer and same usb port?

I'm having the same problem with an iPhone 3Gs running iOS 4.2.1. I get the Failed:( message and have to reboot my phone to get it operating again. I've tried it half a dozen times but no joy. My USB connection seems to be OK--at least when I plug the phone in it connects and shows a slide-to-unlock display.

I should add that I'm running an iMac with OSX 10.6.6.

Have you tried a fresh 4.2.1 restore, or a different USB port or computer?
