How to fix some mysterious problems.

I am using an iphone 4 jb with GP RC5.4 . I tried to install the snes4iphone emulator and it gives me an error: "hash sum mismatch" or [ILLEGAL REPO] source error(1.1.403 I think). My question is if I can run RC6 over my current jailbreak without losing the packages and games already installed with cydia, in hope that this will solve the errors. Thanks!

Maybe if you use the legitimate cydia source instead of the pirate source you named you won't have an issue with it?

But yes, I can confirm that after running RC6 directly over my RC5 install, it fixed my legitimate gpsPhone install.

Well I can tell you it will not fix your errors... The only difference between RC5 and RC6 is that RC6 does support the Apple tv. The error you're having also has nothing to do with the jailbreak, but just by downloading a bad crack or something. Just delete it and either pay for it or find a working cracked snes4iphone.
