I recently downloaded Siri from cydia on my tethered iPod touch 4g with iOS6. When I uninstalled siri from cydia, my iPod touch automatically went to the apple boot logo. So now I go to redsn0w and try booting it up again, all goes well, but it gets STUCK on the pineapple logo! Then it just goes back to the apple logo and keeps rebooting itself in a weird loop WTF help?!?!

Is restoring the ONLY option available? I was expecting that to be a last resort option.

NO! don't restore!

Reboot and press the volume up button of your headphone (earphone), you'll disable mobile substrate and then, you can launch cydia and uninstall siri, then power off, and after that power on, you'll be ok with your ipod working well :)

It's possible that this would have helped, so it was probably worth a try, but I actually think it might not have helped. Spire-derived Siri packages aren't Substrate tweaks, so disabling Substrate usually doesn't help to fix problems caused by them.
