Help with jailbreaking and Cydia for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.

iOS 9 and 8.4.1 do not have jailbreaks. You can use Cydia Impactor if you need to un-jailbreak an 8.1-8.4 device without restoring.
TaiG provides an iOS 8.4 and 8.3 untethered jailbreak. Check @taig_jailbreak, @saurik, and /r/jailbreak for news and updates.

How to fix some mysterious problems.

I bought an used iPhone 4, which I believe was originally bought more than 2 years ago.

I don't have any information regarding the original owner - mobile number, name, nothing.

I cannot utilize the web chat to request an unlock because I do not have an AT&T account (it is necessary to be a customer to create one) and the rep I spoke to on the phone asked for the original owner's information, which I did not have, and so he couldn't unlock it.

Is there any way around this?
