Help with jailbreaking and Cydia for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches.

iOS 8.3, 8.2, and iOS 8.1.3 are not jailbreakable. There is no way to downgrade from iOS 8.3, 8.2, or 8.1.3 to earlier versions.

How to fix some mysterious problems.

I'm trying to get to 5.1 with a BB of 4.10 or otherwise compatible with gevey sim.

If I restore to 4.3.3 (no BB) I get error 1013 and permanently in recovery mode.

If I restore to 5.1 Stiched (no BB) it will boot but can't get past activation. With a valid ATT SIM it just says Searching and iTunes can't read the SIM.

I bet I could update to 5.1.1 and fix the baseband but I would loose the ability of using Gevey Sim.

Any other options?

Unless you have blobs for 5.1 you won't be able to up/down grade. And like Shimmer said snow breeze is the way to go.. All the way to 5.1.1 with the help of Absinthe 2!!

I have all my SHSH blobs stored ffrom 4.1 to 5.1.1. I was able to stitch them into a 5.1 custom IPSW, but it's as if my BB is not working. The ATT sim is not recognized in Itunes and I can't get past the activation setup in 5.1 stitched.

I'm trying 5.1.1 right now

I tried using Snowbreeze with 5.1.1 and I was able to get to the spingboard. Settings says I don't have a BB. The version is empty.

Is it bricked?
