How to fix some mysterious problems.

Hi there :) I'm still having unlock/ultrasn0w problems with my iPhone 4 16GB iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.2.1 in combination with BB 1.59.00. No signal/sim errors with ultrasn0w 1.1-1 and 1.1.2. Tried the Limera1n JB aswell as Greenpois0n and Pwnagetool JB, updated iOS with TinyUmbrella aswell as Pwnagetool (hacktivation and original carriersim). All combinations don't work. The first couple of hours/days the phone works fine and I have good signal. After the first error, errors all the time. Sim card error, no service, or no signal bars etc. Reboot, reinsert sim or reset network settings will sometime solve the problem for a while.

How can I fix this problem? I hope you can help me or give me some tips! If I google, I see more people with exact the same problem!

Please can somebody help me with this? Thnx very much in advance! Best Regards! M.

You mention you've tried 1.1.2 - have you tried the latest version, 1.2, or is that what you mean?

I haven't experienced this myself, but I might give this a shot:

  1. Open Cydia
  2. Go to "Manage" > "Sources" > "Edit" > "Add"
  3. Add "http://repo.bingner.com"
  4. Go back and Install SAM and SAMPrefs
  5. Reboot your device

If I understand correctly, this should help you maintain your SIM activation and remove some of the "Invalid SIM" errors you might be getting.
