How to fix some mysterious problems.

There is a perfect guide on howto add 1 hour and 4 hour options to your password protect timeout options in your JB'd iPhone.

The quide I'm refering to is:

With this quide I got easily to part where I was able to start editing the XML file. However, the perfect timeout for password lock for me would be 30minutes, but I was unsure wether you could set any arbitary amount of minutes into this file.

The question is: can I edit this passcode lock XML as follows to gain 30min option in password protect options? And if this is wrong, which is the right way (given its even possible) Im always afraid that one could brick his phone by going rambo on root rights =)

Just as a precaution, make sure to have SSH installed. That way, if you screw up the passcode lock, you can always reboot, log in with SSH and fix the file. (SSH is enabled at boot by default)

That looks right to me.

As long as you have OpenSSH installed (or i-Funbox or iFile) through Cydia, you can always access your phone to roll back your changes and reboot, even if you're stuck at the lock screen.

Let us know if it works!
