As I tried to install a tweak in cydia ( iLock) I respring as asked after installing and then my iPhone turned on as it was restored. It told me to set it up as it was the first time. I boot it with redsn0w and it did work I had my iPhone back on but in safe mode. Went to cydia to remove the damn tweak but I couldn't find it so I'm still in safe mode. I installed crash reporter plus the sylog I believe but it didn't detect any tweak causing the crash. Please help!!! |

There might be a problem, so the tweak which is creating an issue won't be seen in Cydia. To find it, either use iFile or iExplorer/iFunBox/etc on a computer. Navigate to /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/ then delete the tweakname.dylib and tweakname.plist and then finally try to exit safe-mode. |
Seriously you are a genius Sir! It did work! I'm speechless! I did on my iPhone though and I si delete that damn tweak and saw myself out of the safe mode! Many thanks for the bottom of my heart! Cydia still seems to be freshly installed! I can't see all the tweaks I have installed! However I still have all the sources I have added on the past! Anyway many thanks to you brother! |
Im having the same problem! It's driving me insane! did you not read the above answers? of course none of which worked for me 1
is yours caused by iLock? im guessing its not. How about opening cydia, tapping manage, tapping sources and list your sources 1
