Hi, I have a used iPhone 4S version 5.1.1 with no carrier shown and no previous SIM card. Carrier in settings just says "Not available". When I click on "Carrier", it says "PRL 10052", whatever that means.

I am currently with T-Mobile (I have their SIM card) and I am trying to get the phone to work.

I downloaded and opened Absinthe 2.0, but it says activation is required. I used the bypass activation method (emergency 911) but the home page does not stay up for very long before disappearing.

Any suggestions on how to get it activated so I can use Absinthe 2.0?

Thanks.

OK, so let's say I manage to borrow someone's ATT SIM card and activate my phone, will that effect their phone? Will they have to reactivate THEIR phone?

Before I borrow a SIM card from someone, I really want to know if it will effect the use of THEIR phone afterwards.

Thanks.

You would not need to re activate their phone, at least not in the way you're asking.

No. Nothing will happen to her phone or sim or account.
