How to fix some mysterious problems.

When i jailbroke and installed Cydia, it crashed after going to the home screen while Cydia was loading files (after it installs but says will end when finished. I started it up again and most of my native apps were going, including iPod and safari but the ones that stayed were Photos, Youtube, Stocks, Weather, Clock, Voice Memos, itunes, and Settings. All the app store apps stayed, though. Some of the settings disappeared also

You sure it didn't throw those apps into a folder of there own? Just saying cause that happened to me on a few phones. couldn't find them and they were in a folder that it created. :) If they are truely gone, reboot the phone. (Hold down power for 3-5 seconds till the slide to shutdown appears) and if they still arent there, try a restore of your software in itunes. If that doesnt bring your apps back, I dunno. Unless you do a full iOS 4.2.1 install and rejailbreak your device.

Hope something helps you there.

GOod Luck! :)
